On Friday, the 4^th of March, a meeting of the team from our University was held to initiate the implementation of the project “Citizen journalism for enhancement of regional development. Development of interdisciplinary curricula and implementation of teaching innovations”. The project operator is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE).

The development of a new specialization module "Citizen Journalism" constitutes the main goal of the project. The new module is planned to be implemented into BA and MA studies of Polish philology. 

Within the frame of the project the following elements will be developed: an educational portal with open educational resources, providing tools for online or hybrid education, an interdisciplinary textbook for citizen journalism, as well as a series of 15 video lectures available on the educational portal.

The project is conducted by a team of employees of the University of Bielsko-Biala and the partner University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway. The project operator is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE).
